Hello!
It's been a few months since I've finished IA IA IA. I've been very appreciative of the response to it, especially everyone's reactions to the last chapter. It was a lot of fun seeing what everyone took from it.
I said I'd take a break when I finished IA IA IA. As a matter of fact, to a certain extent, I was forced to take a break. After I finished the comic over New Years', I spent a few months getting the print version ready. In April, I put out the print version, and again I was very thankful for the reception it got. Unfortunately, one month later, I was laid off from my job.
The last few months have been very busy for me as a result. I was already in the process of buying a house when I lost my job, and I decided I still wanted to go through with the purchase (time will tell whether or not that was a good decision). The rest of my time goes to job hunting, household chores, or the few hobbies I can continue to indulge in without spending a lot of money. Unfortunately, no jobs have materialized in the intervening time, but I'm still trying hard to find something.

That's the sad stuff out of the way. In other news, I've started a new comic! It's called NIB, and I'm still sort of working on the pitch. It's a bit like if Dick Tracy and Prince Valiant had a baby, and that baby was a funny animals comic, using the material history of newspaper comics as a spine (although that might be promising too much). It's going to update daily (I hope), just like a newspaper comic would. I hope you enjoy it!
